We went for an anniversary. It’s been on my list for years. I’m so upset we hadn’t gone before because everything was incredible. The service was top notch. For the type of food I expected to spend double what we did. So I am excited to return for more special events. However, I wish I could have a vat of the glaze on the lamb.. so SO good. My husband is gluten free due to celiacs and finally he got to have a great meal and not have to compromise great flavor
We arrived at opening and were seated right away without a reservation. Service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu with great recommendations! The Wagyu Stroganoff did not disappoint and the appetizers and sides all were delicious with surprising flavors! We were stuffed and opted to share a dessert to spare our stomachs. Despite being so full we cleaned out the bowl because it was so tasty! We will be coming back to try other dishes!
Energetic dinner environment with amazing, creative American fare, craft cocktails and expansive wine list. A favorite of ours in Salt Lake, we always request to sit at the "chef's counter" - a diner-style counter in front of all the kitchen action! You are more likely to make your dinner selection watching these amazing chefs work than reading the menu. Wagyu beef stroganoff, seared scallops on corn succotash, bone marrow, delicious burger, house meat loaf on mash with mushroom sauce... and much more. Fun food for the adventurous and/or the just plain hungry. A definite must-go!
After walking around downtown SLC, we stumbled upon this gem. My steak salad was definitely filling but light, especially after a night of silent disco and too many vodka sodas. My husband's burger was delicious, but the real star was the French fries. Crispy but not greasy. PS- Don't sleep on the house pickles!
One of my top favorite places in Salt Lake. When it gets warm outside they open up their patio but indoors is a great ambiance also. Food is fresh and soooo good. I always get the Waygu Beef Stroganoff and its the best recipe I’ve ever had. Make sure to reserve a dinner spot early because the times book out fast.
The entire experience was exceptional. We stated with the salted chili whipped ricotta and sourdough. Appetizers were the black pepper mussels and the goat cheese salad. The goat cheese salad was an expert pairing, and the flavors together were amazing. Entree was the Wagyu beef stroganoff; the preparation was elevated, comfort food with fresh noodles, and a nice spooning of creme friache: the mushrooms were varied and well prepared, making the dish a delight to eat. We received a gratis order of the ricotta dumplings. These are not to be missed; they are scrumptious.

Ended up at the Copper Onion on a Saturday for lunch and I was blown away with how fabulous our experience was! We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with the bartender (I can't recall her name but I enjoyed hearing about her environmental studies!). The drinks were absolutely divine. Order the Space Cowboy if you want to hold onto summer via your taste buds.
What a great lunch spot! I went because they filmed a scene of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City here and I was really impressed! The house pickles were so delicious, I’m a real pickle head and these did not disappoint! I also got the stroganoff which, when it arrived, I got nervous because it doesn’t look like there is much food but the bowl is deep and I was totally full by the end of my meal. Highly recommend!! Service was also wonderful!
Got me saying OOH LA LA to the best French Dip I’ve ever had in my life. Experts in the kitchen. This is the kind of place that keeps the menu as tight as your pants will be when you leave. There’s just enough range in the selection that there’s a variety of dishes, but it’s not watered down with choice overload. The Caesar cauliflower was also decadent. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I live out of state or I would be a regular here for their seasonal rotating menu!
